Key Features of the Cuba Patio Awning

Full Cassette Casing

A contemporary rectangular, fully enclosed cassette provides a sleek architectural finish while concealing the fabric and operating mechanism when retracted, protecting the awning from the elements.

Enhanced Folding Arm Strength

Twin spring-loaded retractable arms tensioned via four tear-resistant sheathed stainless steel cables deliver exceptional fabric tension and are engineered to withstand winds up to 31mph (Beaufort 6).

Durable Construction

Manufactured using corrosion-resistant extruded aluminium components for superior strength and longevity, finished in Pure White or Anthracite Grey as standard. Proudly made in the UK.

Variable Pitch Control

The pitch angle is set during manufacture to suit the installation requirements. For safe and effective rainwater runoff, a minimum pitch of 14° is recommended.

Water-Repellent Fabrics

Available in an extensive range of premium acrylic fabrics, including exclusive collections, designed to resist stretching, warping and tearing while maintaining long-term colour vibrancy and performance outdoors.

Advance Motorised Operation

Powered by a built-in tubular motor featuring bi-directional control technology, operated via remote handset or smartphone app. Perfect for reliable everyday use. Optional wind and sun sensors also available.

Integrated Lighting & Heating

Optional warm white LED lighting discreetly integrated beneath the cassette, alongside ultra-low glare infra-red heaters, creates a comfortable and inviting outdoor environment.

Available up to 7m wide with a maximum 3.75m projection, or coupled up to 14m, supplied with standard and specialist mounting brackets to suit a wide range of property types.

The Cuba Awning is made to measure up to 7 metres wide with projections up to 3.75 metres, with the option to couple units up to 14 metres where required, ideal for larger patios and outdoor living areas.

Available in Pure White or Anthracite Grey as standard, the Cuba features a contemporary rectangular full-cassette housing and can be installed using standard or specialist mounting brackets to suit different wall types.

During your survey, we assess fixing suitability, mounting height and pitch requirements to ensure safe installation and reliable shade performance.

The Cuba Awning is available in an extensive collection of premium, solution-dyed acrylic fabrics designed for exceptional durability and long-term outdoor performance.

I can highly recommend John's Blinds, I have used them twice now having just moved house. The service was brilliant, the guy that came to measure was very helpful, no messing around with stupid inflated prices and then conjuring up discounts, just a straight forward "this is the price."
Installation was also excellent, James was such a tidy worker and did a meticulous job matching up the slats to be level on our big bay window with a wonky ceiling. Our blinds look great, I am so pleased with them. Office staff were also really helpful calling to arrange dates and confirm appointments.
