How Perfect Fit Shutter Lite Works

Perfect Fit Shutter Lite uses a lightweight framed panel containing adjustable shutter-style louvres. Discreet brackets slide between the glass and compatible uPVC glazing beads, allowing the complete frame to clip securely into place without drilling.

The louvres tilt to adjust the amount of daylight and privacy within the room. Unlike traditional plantation shutters, the Shutter Lite panel does not hinge open independently – the complete frame remains attached to the window or door and moves with it when opened.

The panel can be unclipped and removed when required, making it easier to clean the glass or decorate around the window before refitting it.

Perfect Fit Shutter Lite is a lightweight shutter-style alternative rather than a traditional plantation shutter. It uses hollow louvres to keep the complete shutter panel light enough to attach directly to compatible uPVC windows and doors.

Unlike a Perfect Fit Blind, there is no separate frame containing another blind product. Shutter Lite is the complete shutter panel, which clips onto discreet brackets positioned within the compatible uPVC glazing beads.

It is also installed differently from traditional plantation shutters. Full shutters normally have a substantial outer frame fixed into the window recess or surrounding wall, with shutter panels that hinge open. Shutter Lite clips directly onto the opening window or door without drilling and moves with it when opened.

Shutter Lite cannot be fitted to every window or door. Important compatibility requirements include:
