    What is a pelmet and what does it do?

    A pelmet is a smart top treatment that hides tracks, poles and Roman headrails, tidies the window and can improve blackout by blocking top light. It also helps reduce draughts/heat loss at the head of the window and gives a crisp, finished look.

    Can you make pelmets to match my Curtains or Roman blinds?

    Yes, every pelmet is made to measure. We can match your curtain/blind fabric, or create a contrast with piping, borders or trims. Choose from upholstered (box) pelmets with straight or shaped bottoms or soft pelmets/valances.

    Do pelmets work on bay windows and over corded tracks?

    Absolutely. We template the bay and build a curved or sectioned pelmet board, so it follows the shape neatly. Pelmets can conceal tracks (including wave-compatible systems) while keeping access for maintenance. We design, make and fit across Essex.
