With its streamlined full-cassette housing and robust construction, the Tortola sits neatly against the wall when retracted, fully enclosing the fabric and mechanism for maximum protection and a clean finish. When extended, it delivers generous, stable shade over patios, garden seating areas and doors.

Key Features of the Tortola Patio Awning

Full Cassette Headbox

A streamlined, fully enclosed cassette casing neatly conceals the awning when retracted, protecting both the fabric and operating mechanism from harsh weather and environmental exposure.

Powerful Folding Arms

Twin spring-loaded retractable arms, tensioned using two tear-resistant stainless steel cables, maintain optimum fabric tension and are engineered to withstand winds up to 24mph (Beaufort 5).

Durable Construction

The structural hardware is manufactured from corrosion-resistant extruded aluminium, designed for long-term durability and finished in Pure White or Anthracite Grey as standard.

Variable Pitch Control

The awning angle can be adjusted between 0° and 45° (allowing up to 75cm fall per metre) to suit different mounting heights and applications. A minimum 14° pitch is recommended where rainwater run-off is required.

Water-Repellent Fabrics

Available in a wide range of premium acrylic fabrics, including exclusive collections, designed to resist stretching, warping and tearing, with protective surface treatments for easier maintenance.

Easy Motorised Operation

Powered by an integrated Somfy tubular motor featuring advanced bi-directional control technology, operated via remote control or smartphone app for smooth and convenient everyday use.

Optional LED Lighting & Heating

Optional warm white LED lighting discreetly integrated beneath the cassette, alongside ultra-low glare infra-red heaters, helps create a comfortable and inviting outdoor setting.

Bespoke Configuration

Available up to 5m wide with a maximum 3m projection, supplied with standard and specialist mounting brackets for installation on a wide range of property types, including extensions and bungalows.

The Tortola Awning is made to measure up to 5 metres wide with a maximum projection of approximately 3 metres, making it suitable for most patio and terrace spaces.

Available in popular frame finishes including Pure White and Anthracite Grey, the Tortola features a streamlined full-cassette housing and can be installed using a variety of standard or specialist brackets depending on wall construction and positioning.

As part of your survey, we assess fixing suitability, wall strength, mounting height and required pitch to ensure the awning performs safely and delivers the right level of shade and rain run-off where needed.
