    Can Pencil Pleat Curtains hang from a pole or a track, and how do the hooks work?

    They work on both. We insert curtain hooks into one of the tape’s pockets to set the finished height. On a pole, hooks go into the rings; on a track, they clip to the gliders. For bays or heavy fabrics, a quality metal track gives the smoothest glide and support.

    How much gather/fullness do I need for Pencil Pleats and do you calculate it?

    As a guide, allow around 2.0× to 2.5× the track/pole width for a well-balanced gather (fabric choice and interlining can nudge this up or down). Don’t worry, we calculate the exact widths, pattern repeats and pleat spacing for you so the Curtains meet in the middle, stack properly and clear handles/radiators.
