John's Blinds is the nearest and largest curtain supplier and fitter serving Wickford and surrounding area. Buying/Replacing House Curtains is not a cheap purchase by any means, wherever you buy them from. It's up to the customer to decide in his or her case whether they feel John's is a tad overpriced or not, taking account of quality and the fitting etc. I've taken one star off because I just don't know the answer to that, as we only had the one quotation from John's (we did receive a price concession as we placed a double order).
What I can say is the choice from the Shop on 'Wickford Industrial Site', is very good and the staff are helpful. The fitter is a very nice young, good looking lad called 'Bob', who knows his job inside out, and I am sure will be very popular with the ladies.

I have used John’s Blinds twice now for blinds and shutters. It’s great to find a local company whose knowledge and expertise you can trust. The showroom is set out with all their products and everyone I have dealt with there is helpful, friendly and efficient.
A special mention to Steve who has fitted my blinds, he does a really professional job, friendly, warm and he cares about his work.
I would advise anyone to not be taken in by internet ads or special offers from online companies. Go local, go to John’s and get the right advice by talking to real people who understand that you are making an investment in your home.

Excellent service from start to finish. Kept us informed of status of order. Fitting on the day was fantastic. The quality of the shutters is brilliant and we are so happy with the result.

We have used Johns blinds a couple of times and couldn’t be happier with our new blinds. All the staff are really friendly, professional and ever so helpful with great advice on what blinds were best to suit the size of our windows. They come out and measure up for you so that you can be safe in the knowledge that they will fit like a glove. We also found that they were reasonably priced. Do not use any other company!!! We will be recommending this company to friends and family and will definitely use Johns blinds in the future. Thank you, from two very pleased customers.
This is the second time we've used John's Blinds in the past year and we've had the same fantastic service both times. The staff in the showroom have been so helpful in finding examples of material for our 2 Roman Blinds, and ordered a range of samples for us to see in situ. The measurement and fitting service has been exemplary and any mess made must have been cleared up as the place was spotless when completed. I'd thoroughly recommend John's Blinds.

I have used Johns Blinds & Curtains for many different types of high quality window coverings over the past 6 years. I’ll always recommend them based on build quality, price and customer service. My most recent shutter is amazing and just finishes the room off perfectly! The installer so are so friendly you could talk to them for longer than an install takes.
We had the back bedroom shutters fitted by Steve who was very professional and did a fantastic job of installing the shutters. Steve answered any questions I had and left the room clean after the work was complete. I would highly recommend John's blinds and curtains again and especially Steve who's friendly approach is a great asset to the company.

Fantastic service from John’s Blinds & Curtains. We had shutters fitted and roller blinds and the service on all of the fittings was just brilliant. So much care and thought was taken when carrying out the fittings to make sure everything was perfect. Steve and Matt left everything tidy and were both cleaning up as they went along fitting the shutters. We love the shutters that they have fitted and also our roller blinds in our bathrooms which were also fitted so well. There were so many options on material and colours for the roller blinds which was great. We would definitely recommend John’s Blinds to those looking for new blinds/shutters. Thank you!

John's Blinds & Curtains were a similar price to Blinds2Go. However, the service was priceless. All windows were carefully surveyed, finding some window openings were not square. The fitting dealt with that. In addition the fitter was lovely and completely cleared up.

Absolutely fantastic service from ordering the blinds and curtains to the guys who did the work. Steve was meticulous and ensured that the blinds were perfect - he also kept my 6 year old entertained whilst doing the job - fantastic guy. Bob - again, what a great guy. Did a super job on the curtains - we love them - and a bonus to have an awesome chat with him about football. Highly recommend.
My parents had a fantastic experience with John’s blinds from start to finish. Sam came round to measure and discuss options and Steve fitted them. Excellent service from start to finish and our blackout blind has exceeded all expectations. Our fitter was amazing bearing in mind he had to fit the blind whilst standing on a bed as there was no room to mover it! Highly recommended.
We had bedroom curtains fitted today and are very pleased with the finished effect, they really complement our recently redecorated room. There was a slight problem with tie back hooks but once we talked to Lorraine in the office, Bobby came back within 10 minutes and sorted out the problem for us. We’ve bought several products from John’s Blinds over the years and have always been delighted with the attention to detail and quality of staff and product. Family and friends have also bought and have similar experiences. Their nature is to get the best product, at a good price. We’re also interested in their commercial arm supplying custom fit blinds to our offices in the West End. I’ve never felt “sold to” and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
Just had 'perfect fit' blinds added to my french doors, service was impeccable. Sam was very friendly, thorough and advised on every aspect without the pushy sales approach. Would highly recommend to anyone. Very competitive prices and excellent quality.
This morning had a lovely roller blind fitted at my kitchen window, which I am well pleased with. Took next to no time to do. Amazing service from this local company. My daughter was moving today and needed a motorised roller blind. The blind was manufactured in incredibly short time and was delivered and fitted ahead of schedule. The whole process was worry free and everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. No high pressure sales and I genuinely felt like they really cared. Thanks to everyone involved from Sam in sales to Steve who completed the fitting.

I cannot recommend Johns Blinds and curtains more highly. From the friendly helpful staff at the showroom to the fitters there is nothing they could do better. I have had vertical and Roman blinds made and fitted by them and the product quality is superb.

I have ordered roller blinds and vertical blinds from this company. Always excellent service and very good quality products. They come and measure when they say they are and deliver on time. All their staff are very friendly and helpful with giving advice. I have used this company for many years and would not go anywhere else. Their showroom in Wickford is worth a visit but if you can't get there they will bring samples to you.

This company are simply the best! we had shutters fitted to 2 bay windows & a box room and also just had remote controlled motorised roller blinds fitted to our bi-folds.
We visited their showroom free parking outside given advice and made an appointment for Matt to come to us in Hornchurch to measure up and give us a free quotation.
Matt (who was a pleasure to deal with) came and measured very thoroughly, answered many questions from my husband and I. We were so impressed with his whole attitude & approach and most importantly there was NO PRESSURE OR HARD SELL.
Also worth mentioning Matt removed his trainers when he entered our house - very impressed and grateful to him. We received a detailed quote later that day by email.
We discussed the quote over the weekend and placed the order on the Monday. Again no sales calls or pressure from this family run business.
When Matt and Steve (both lovely down to earth guys) came to install the shutters they removed their trainers each time they came into our house they were so clean & tidy whilst installing the shutters (hoovering/wiping any dust etc.) that when they finished you wouldn't have known all what had gone into the finished result.
